Carlos Tevez is expected to be available for selection for Manchester City’s match against West Brom on the coming Sunday. The Argentina star was ruled out of last Saturday’s game against Wolves due to a thigh injury and his absence saw his side lose 2-1 to Wolves. City boss has confirmed this news in the following words:

"Tomorrow he will be in Manchester and I think he will be ready for West Brom. If he is okay then he could be."

This is good news for Manchester City who would be keen to make it to next year’s Champions League and can’t afford losing easy points.

Manchester City’s high profile youngster Mario Balotelli has set his aim high, i.e. to become the best footballer of the world. Talking to City’s official website, the man with the nickname of Super Mario said,

“I want to be the best player in the world.”

"I will always give everything because I want to become the best. That is my aim and I am determined to make it happen.

"I am here at City to play Champions League football, that's the competition I want to be in and that is what all the players here want to play in."

The Italian footballer joined Manchester City from Inter Milan this season and is finding conditions of England very different to those of Italy. In this regard, he said: "The tackles are harder and the referees don't seem to blow very often for fouls – in Italy, when someone makes contact with you, it's a foul, but that's not the case in England." The set-piece specialist, who has just played his first full game for Manchester City, has to adapt quickly to England’s conditions, which would be the first step towards his ambition.

Gareth Bale has dazzled everyone by his recent performances in UEFA Champions League and a lot of clubs will be interested in the Wales International in the upcoming transfer seasons. Tottenham have already shown their intentions of keeping hold of the winger. Tottenham Manager Harry Redknapp has declared that Bale is not for sale. He said, "We're looking to build a team and if you build a team you've got to hang onto the Gareth Bales of this world." Harry added that if Bale were to go, even 30 million pounds would not be enough to secure his services.

Will Tottenham be able to keep hold of Gareth Bale? We will have to wait and see.
