Fabregas Committed To Arsenal

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas believes that his performances on the pitch for Arsenal this season is a clear proof that he is committed to Arsenal. Fabregas who once again played a vital part in champions league success over Barcelona is confident that he and his team are on course to end their 6 year wait for trophy this season. It was his pass which sent Samir Nasri through on goal before the Frenchman assisted Arsahvin to secure first ever success over Spanish giants Barecelona.

Fabregas was a strong summer target for Barcelona but he was convinced to stay at Arsenal for one more season by manager Arsene Wenger. However, transfer rumors have not stopped as according to latest reports Real Madrid are set to launch a massive transfer bid for the Spain international but Fabregas says that he is only focused on winning silverware for Arsenal.

Arsenal are in a very good position in all the competitions at the moment as they face Birmingham City in Carling cup final on 27^th Feb whereas they are only 4 points behind league leaders Manchester United. Arsenal face Leyton Oreint in the 5^th round of the FA Cup and have a first leg lead of 2-1 against Barcelona. Fabregas said.

“I am showing that I am fully committed to this club and together I and Arsenal want to do great things. I want to continue the hard work which I have put this season and with giving all I have got I want to help Arsenal to win trophies as we are in a very good position in all four competitions. As a club Arsenal wants to win everything.”

When questioned about his future. He said

“As I already said that I want to work hard to win trophies with Arsenal so my future is not the important thing in my mind.”
