Match Report and Highlights – Tottenham Hotspur 1-5 Manchester City

Manchester City showed their potential when they defeated Tottenham Hotspur by 5 goals to 1 at White Hart Lane today. 4 goals from Edin Dzeko and a superb solo effort from Kun Aguero sealed the result for City. Kaboul did get one back for Spurs when they were trailing by 4 goals but Dzeko then added a superb 5^th goal in the stoppage time to put icing on the cake.

Spurs missed a number of good chances to score with Peter Crouch sending his header wide of goal whereas Gareth Bale missed the chance of scoring by getting into a panic. Some could say that things would have been very different if both Bale and Crouch would have scored for Spurs.  Defeat to Spurs and Arsenal mean that they are unlikely to challenge for top 4 places this season as United, City, Chelsea and Liverpool have all raced away to 7 and 9 points leads respectively.  Dzeko due to his performance was rightly named man of the match after the Bosnian striker finished all the goals like a real goal poacher in front of goal.
