Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has assured Liverpool fans that club captain Steven Gerrard will not be rushed back into action after the talismanic midfielder returned to full training after fully recovering from a groin surgery. Gerrard went through a groin operation due to which he has missed last three matches for Liverpool.
However, Gerrard is confident that he will be available for Reds clash against West Brom but Kenny Dalglish is not 100% to bring back the influential skipper. Academy graduate Jay Spearing impressed for Liverpool against Sunderland and he is likely to start again at the Hawthorns. Talking exclusively to Liverpoolfc.tv Dalglish said.
"We'll have a look,” "He's recovered really well from the surgery he had so we'll see how he is before we decide whether he's in or out.
"He's certainly done a lot of training this week – not all the training the other lads have done, but a lot of it.
"But two weekends ago at Sunderland, Jay Spearing played really well. There is no need for us to be in a rush to bring Steven back."
