Liverpool return to the stadium where they came back from 3 goals down at half time win the champions league final against AC Milan. However, this time they are facing Galatasaray.

Reds will be looking to bounce back from their pre season defeat against Hull City few days ago. However, there were encouraging signs for Liverpool as Downing and Jordan Henderson made their debuts for the club.

Liverpool will be without their captain Steven Gerrard, Daniel Agger, Fabio Aurelio and probably Jose Reina who are all recovering from their injuries respectively.  Luis Suarez and Lucas who were involved in the Copa America are also missing for Reds as they take a long break after being involved in tough competition over the summer.

Upfront, Reds are likely to start with David Ngog or Andy Carroll. Alberto Aquilani and Joe Cole have been impressive in pre season so far but they will have to step up their even further if they want to have a future at club.
